Extensive protests over the arrest of two kerite nuns in Chhattisgarh echoed across Kerala, although the nurses remained imprisoned on the disputed accusations of forced transformation and trading in the central prison Durg on Friday.
In addition, public concerns about the well -being of nuns, preeti Mary and Vandan Francis, both suffer from chronic diseases, escalated even as worrying news about the prosecution of bail, despite the assurance of the Interior Minister Amit Shah.
Archbishop Mar Joseph Pamplany of the Arcidiocese Thalassery, who led the protest assembly that demanded justice for nuns, told journalists in Cannon that the CHhattisgar’s opposition to babies in the National Investigation Agencies (NIA) in Basalpur was “condemnable and suspected”. He said it was unfortunate that Mr. Shaha was not running in a state (BJP-prepared). “The center should hit immediately,” he said.
Head leader Ramesh Chennithala said that Mr Shah’s assurance towards MEP Kereral seemed to be in CHHHhattisgarh to bear any weight. The opposition leader VD Satheesan said the police against bail bail according to the Sangh Parivar scenario, and portrays Mr. Shah’s Assurans Hollow.
The Communist Party of India (CPI) National Executive Member of P. Sandosh Kumar, a deputy, told journalists in Durg that Mr. Shah had promised members of the Parliament of Kerala to take the moral position in the application of nuns. “But there was no.”
BJP boss visits Thazhath
Previously, the chairman of the State President BJP, Chandrasekhar, called Archbishop Andrews Mar Thazath in Thrissur to inform him about Mr. Shah’s efforts to ensure justice for nuns. However, Mr. Chandrasekhar said he could not determine the date of the trial.
The vice -chairman of BJP Keral Shone George, who took part in the negotiations on the bail of nuns in the Nia court, dispersed that the prosecution had opposed bail. “The prosecutor merely said that the investigation was in the emerging phase,” he said. Mr. George claimed that the nurses’ advice presented a strong reason for their wound bail. “Defense provided documents showing that the women accused by the police, nurses from the spirit to Agra to transform Christianity were Christians, though not Catholics. The advisor also submitted evidence that the women agree from their parents to travel to Agra with a nun in a hospital.”
Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh, the main minister Vishnu deo Sai in the new Delhi in Kerala, raised the hope that nuns could soon be released from prison.
However, it seemed that the leaders of the Church, the members of the laymen and politicians across the Kerala spectrum signaled the feeling of despair about the continuing imprisonment of higher nuns allegedly under hard conditions, albeit mammoth protests, some show tableau sisters in prison.
