The Delhi Capitals opener reached the milestone in just 47 balls, hammering 12 fours and five sixes in an impressive display. However, the shift could have ended much earlier. Rahul got two lifelines, first Shashank Singh fell for 12 and then again for 51 when Vijaykumar Vyshak missed a reverse catch off his own bowling. Punjab paid a heavy price for these missed chances as Rahul emphatically made them count.
