Doctor shares heartwarming moment from CJP ‘Chalo Sansad’ protest, praises students’ honesty after finding lost phone | Today’s news
A doctor who actively participated in the ‘Chalo Sansad’ march of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on July 20 recently shared a heartwarming incident online. Dr Bhawna Yadav took to Instagram to express her admiration for the other protesters protesting the alleged irregularities in the conduct of the NEET UG exam.
Taking to her social media account on Instagram, Dr Bhawna revealed that she was part of the medical team of the CJP protest held at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Describing how her response to the protesting students touched her heart, she said, “I would like to share an incident… I lost my phone during the stampede on July 20.”
He further revealed that whoever found her phone returned it to her by the evening of the same day. She praised the students and added: “The sincerity of the students at the protest was incredible. In a few days at the protest, I met some incredible brave people and learned a lot. In the end we won and this victory belonged to all of us. We stood together, we supported each other and in the end we won.” The post came a day after Union Education Minister Dharmemdra Pradhan tendered his resignation to Prime Minister Modi – one of the key demands of the CJP protesters.

Many social media users praised the doctor for being part of the protest, while others pointed out the difference between the educated and the uneducated. User wrote: “You are true warriors.”
Another user commented: “Thanks for being there… you are a doctor for the people in the truest sense.” A third user stated: “Educated vs uneducated, yes they are different.”
A fourth comment read: “Yes, one thing is for sure, whoever physically participated in this protest would not be the same as before.”

A sixth user said: “The fearless and bold stand you took to protest – and the brave fight you put up – is truly commendable; you will forever be remembered in history. As for those who trolled you, they were nothing but blind fanatics and traitors. We will meet soon to discuss other issues facing our country.”
NEET series of paper leak brings together doctors and students
The NEET paper leak controversy has brought doctors and students together. Volunteer doctors set up makeshift medical facilities alongside ambulances and treated patients with a range of protest-related injuries such as swollen limbs, sprains, twisted ankles and cuts. In addition, many were given over-the-counter medications for symptoms ranging from dehydration, sore throats, coughs, colds, viral infections, headaches and fevers.
According to a PTI report, a team of 4-5 volunteer doctors was always present at the protest site at all times. They were well stocked with pain relievers, antibiotics, wound ointments, ORS packs, allergy, diabetes and blood pressure medications, cough syrups and more. Some people even donated medicine as a show of support for the protesting students.
According to media reports, a total of 186 injured were taken to the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital (RML) emergency ward following Monday’s protest after Delhi Police used force, including lathi charge and tear gas, to control the massive gathering.
