‘We are wasting time’: Class 12 students face trouble logging into CBSE portal for verification, revaluation | Today’s news

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday, June 2, launched the answer verification and revaluation portal for Class 12 students, ending uncertainty after a delay due to technical issues and cyber security concerns. However, several students have now reported login errors. Students requesting verification and reconsideration reported being repeatedly redirected to login pages, while some said they were unable to log in at all.

A student who said she tried to login to the portal using her login said “nahin ho raha login failed login hi aa raaha hai jitni bar sahi information deke login karo same so @cbseindia29 you keep telling everyone your website is working so smoothly wow bohat ache se hamara and i don’t waste time login” everytime even i enter correct information @cbseindia29 you keep saying website it works smoothly for everyone please don’t waste your time like this.

Another said: “It’s not going through. After typing a detailed question for 15-20 minutes I was brought to a login page when I submitted ?????”

“Oh God stop this torture. Your portal is still down. And why did you disable the page for viewing scanned sheets? Please reopen so that atleast those who got their scanned sheets can view them again. We couldn’t download the scanned sheet b4 because your portal was faulty,” another student responded to CBSE’s post on X.

Another student said: “The site is still not working properly? Give us MERCY and put an end to this for good.”

Responding to allegations that the site is still down, some sources told ANI that the revaluation portal is active and “functioning normally and running smoothly”.

“Though a few technical issues have been reported, they are being addressed immediately. A large number of students are successfully using the portal without any difficulty,” sources said.

CBSE launches revaluation portal

In a post on X, the CBSE headquarters informed Class 12 students that the portal is now active and urged them to follow the application process carefully. Verification and re-evaluation of copies remains open from today until midnight on Saturday 6th June.

“Dear Students, The Verification and Revaluation Portal is now LIVE! Please watch the video carefully for step-by-step instructions on how to apply for mark verification and revaluation,” CBSE headquarters said in a post on X.

In a statement, the board said, “Application portal for verification of issues observed in the supplied scanned copy of answer sheet and Revaluation of Answers has been launched on June 2, 2026. The portal for verification of issues in the supplied scanned copy of answer sheets and revaluation of answers will remain open from 26.02.2026 to 06.02.(Midnight).”

The launch comes a day after a CBSE official told ANI that the portal, which was initially slated to launch on June 1, has experienced technical issues and will launch soon. The delay has caused concern among students and parents, especially after reports of glitches during the answer sheet access process earlier this month.

The launch of the portal follows CBSE’s recent efforts to address cyber security concerns surrounding the OnMark portal operated by its service provider.
