The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Friday announced the preliminary results of the second round of allotment of seats for admission to medical and dental courses.

Out of the total 12,010 medical seats, 11,626 seats have been allotted, leaving 384 seats vacant, all of which are in management quota.

However, all 2,689 places are allocated in the field of dentistry (Bachelor of Dental Surgery).

Candidates who have been allotted seats in both All India Quota and KEA counseling can choose Choice-4 till September 14 by 5 pm if they wish to accept a seat through All India Quota and leave the KEA counseling process, KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna said.
