The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast for 20 districts of Telangana for Wednesday (September 9, 2026).

According to the latest IMD bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryabad, Medyapet, Hyababad, Medyapet, Malkajgiri, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool. districts.

Hyderabad city and its surroundings will have partly clear skies for the next 24 hours. “Light rain or thunderstorms with gusty winds are very likely to occur in parts of the city in the evening or overnight.
