The Minister of Agriculture of the Union Shivaraj Singh Chouhan said on Friday that the center was committed to the well -being of farmers and wants to strengthen agriculture during the 110th anniversary of the birth of Shivaratri Rajendra Swami of Suttur Mutt.
Mr. Chouhan emphasized the exchange of farmers to develop India and called them “Annadatta” and emphasized the government’s initiatives to improve agriculture.
He said it was necessary to reduce agricultural losses, promote crop diversification, etc., and added that small farmers with one to two acres can benefit from integrated agricultural procedures.
The Minister noted the diligence of farmers and stated that in the past India tried to feed and led the existence of “hand in the mouth”.
“But today, thanks to our farmers, we are exporting food around the world. India is ready to become a food basket of the world,” said Mr. Chouhan, adding that the national unity must win over political differences, especially in confidence issues. “Our prime minister has urged us to buy only what is made in India to strengthen our economy,” he said.
Chuhan, who praised the contributions of Rajendra Swami and Suttur Mutt Institutions, emphasized their commitment to education, health and social care of the community. He said that eternal believed in the dictum that the provision of education and services needed was the real worship of God and proved by the ancient Indian Vaues.
Mr. Chouhan, who quoted the rich spiritual heritage of India, noted that long before other civilizations emphasized the Indian sages the truth, unity and universal well -being.
“Indian saints thousands of years ago said the world was for everyone and that the whole world was one family,” he said, referring to various fonts, which was constantly praying for the peace and welfare of everyone.
Suttur Mutt, said that Mr. Chouhan, shows the ancient values of India to communities of food, education and health care.
“Children at elementary school, especially COVID-19 children, are educated and free of charge without costs; health care is subsidized for the poor. It is a real service, God’s service,” he added. The company and children in need coincide with the Indian ancient ethos and institutions as Suttur Mutt remain the beacons of these values, Mr. Chouhan added.
The current Suttur Mutt shivaratri deshikendra swami and Pontify and the heads of other mutts were present.
