Saham Parekh, an Indian technical expert accused of secret work for several startups based in the US at the same time, was accused of emotionally manipulating his former boss by conflict in India-Pakistan as an excuse. Arkadiy Telegin, co -founder Leaping AI, made these statements in a recent post on X.
According to Telegin Parekh, he falsely claimed that during the tension between India and Pakistan in May he lives near the conflict zone in Mumbai. He claimed that Parekh sent him and said, “They fired a drone in the air near my house from 10 minutes,” they explained a delay at work.
The telegin further claimed that Parekh lied and he was treading him for being slow with the coding tasks, and said, “Saham disappeared me for being slow on my breast when it happens in India-Pakistan, all when he was in Mumbai.” He added witty: “Another person should hire him for the role of the main intelligence officer.” Telegin also shared the screenshots of his cottages to support his claim.
The news was probably exchanged during the tense period of the military action between India and Pakistan after the Sindoor operation. The operation came in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where 22 April lost 26 people.
Later, Parekh reached out to the Telegin to apologize for the “difficulty” he had caused. When I shared the screen of this apology, he discovered, “Soham’s character I was hoping for.”
In a separate contribution to X, Suhail Doshi, former CEO of Mixpanel, accused the park of juggling more jobs at once. Doshi claimed that Parekh worked with “34 startups at the same time” and accused him of pretending his CV to secure these jobs. He said Parekh was released within one week of hiring, but allegedly continued to deceive further startups.
Doshi warned others in the starting community and wrote: “The dog: there is a person named Soham Parekh (in India), who works on 3-4 startups at the same time.
Parekh replied to the controversy and admitted his actions and said, “I’m not proud of what I did. But you know, financial situations, basically. No one really likes to work 140 hours a week, right? He also said he had finished his work alone without using AI or help from other engineers.
Despite the will, Parekh has now joined the new AI startup called Darwin based in San Francisco. He said he would no longer accept more jobs. Darwin’s CEO and founder of Sanjit Juneja advocated hiring and said, “Saham is an incredibly talented engineer and we believe in his ability to help bring our products to the market.”
On June 3, Parekh published on X, reflecting falling from the controversy. “I was isolated, written and closed almost anyone I knew, and every society I worked on. But the building is the only thing I have ever known, and that’s what I will do next,” he wrote.
