
Mysuru Grahakar Parishat (MGP) organized a meeting to discuss the topic of food safety and falsifying food in the city of August 30.
The meeting will take place on road 6/1 Vivekananda in Yadavagiri here at 4 pm
“Since its foundation, it has been one of the topics on which MGP has worked tirelessly, educating the public about how we buy it, falsified, how to detect it, and how uncontrollable use of pesticides harms our health in the long term.
SL Ravindra, a designated FSSAI officer (Food Safety and Standards in India), will interact with participants about how the food we buy are, and how they tried to prevent these procedures for hotels and shops by analyzing samples. He will also talk about how the public can help them in the detection of perpetrators, added edition.
KG Srinivas, head of the consultant and head of the department, medical oncology, hospital Bharath, Mysur, will speak of the necessary safety measures due to extensive use of pesticides.
Ravicandra Bekal, a management advisor who previously worked in the FMCG sector, will speak of the view of the food safety industry and compliance.
The meeting gains importance as a result of a large number of tourists visiting Mysur to watch the following Dasar festivities.
