Food processing not only adds value to the final product, but also helps to increase the intake of farmers, the speakers said in a one -day educational program for food processing held here on Friday (July 4).
The event was organized together by Andhra Pradesh Food Processing Society, Rythu Sadhikar Samstha (RYSS) and Varahi Federation, with the aim of building stronger rural India and ensuring the development of the state by strengthening the hands of farmers.
Minister of Chounjiv Choudhara spoke of identifying the needs of the processing of small and medium -sized farmers, the organization of producers of farmers (FPO) and natural agricultural aggregators and providing information on the market equipment.
“There is a great demand for millet powder and other millet -based food products. The processing of the device is not only available in a subsidy for the government, but also with financial facilities from the banking sector,” he said.
The RYSS Prabhakar team leader has seen great demand in the future for naturally grown food products with regard to growing health consciousness and gained a call to farmers to take a natural way.
