Mann’s letter pm modi
Mann wrote PM modim and asked him to release £60,000 crore “state funds”, which allegedly “stuck” with the central government, said PTI.
He also called on revisions in standards for resources available in the State Fund for Reaction to Disaster (SDRF) and said his government wanted to pay at least £50 000 per acre affected by farmers.
“Panjab faces a difficult time due to the worst flood conditions. You are asked to release all the funds of the pandjab stuck with the Indian government, which is on the melody £60 000 crore. Since the crops were almost in the harvest phase, I feel that at least £50,000 per acre should be paid to farmers. So I ask you to revise SDRF compensation standards. Needless to say, the state government will continue to contribute 25 % according to the SDRF diagram. “Mann said.
Meanwhile, the pandjab extended the closure of all schools to 3 September, according to the Minister of Education Harjot Singh Bains. Previously, the government of Mann announced the holidays for schools from 27 to 30 August.
