Pakistan is all set to host Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe in a seven-match T20I tri-series starting from Tuesday, November 18. The series will be crucial for all three teams as they prepare for the 2026 FIFA T20 World Cup, with India and Sri Lanka hosting the tournament.
Pakistan entered the series after leveling the series against Sri Lanka in ODIs and a 2-1 win over South Africa in their earlier T20I assignment. Sri Lanka will be without the services of their usual captain, Charith Asalanka and Asitha Fernandowho returned home due to illness. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, will be looking to produce impressive performances and upset the favorites for the final, which will be played on November 29.
With so much at stake, the matches in Rawalpindi are expected to be thrilling as all three teams look to lift the trophy.
