Which countries serve eggs to schoolchildren?

Most states in South India serve eggs as part of school meals and fare better on child nutrition indicators. While Karnataka provides six eggs per week, one every day, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh provide five eggs per week. School children in West Bengal and Bihar get only one egg a week, while states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan do not provide eggs.
