The IPL 2026 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Friday night had a lot of big hits. But the reaction from the stands stole the show on social media. Sunrisers Hyderabad CEO Kavya Maran has gone viral for her reaction to RCB bowler Krunal Pandya.

Krunal is known for trying different things while bowling. He is mixing up the pace this season. Sometimes instead of standard spin, he bowls a fast ball or throws a surprising short bouncer to catch the batsman off guard.

The incident occurred during the 17th over of the first innings when SRH batsman Nitish Kumar Reddy was on strike. Krunal decided to try a surprise tactic and fired in a sharp, quick recoil. The delivery flew so high that the umpire actually called it a wide, meaning Krunal had to bowl the delivery again.

Krunal fared much better later in the evening when it was his turn to bat. Chasing a massive target of 256, the all-rounder played well and was not out for 41 runs off 31 balls.

His good batting along with a half-century from Rajat Patidar helped RCB protect their clean sheet. In the end, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match easily by 55 runs, but Kavya Maran’s hilarious reaction to the bouncer in the 17th over remained one of the biggest viral moments of the night.

A win for SRH seals the top 3 for the IPL playoffs. RCB and Gujarat Titans (GT) along with SRH hold the top 3 spots while the likes of Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders are still fighting for the fourth spot in the points table.
