The 4th mini Karnataka Games 2025, a week-long event for under-14 athletes, has concluded in Bengaluru. Organized by the Karnataka Olympic Association, the Ministry of Youth Empowerment and Sports and the Karnataka Sports Authority, the Games saw over 5,000 participants competing in 27 sports. The official stated, “The future of our country will depend on our young children. At this age, if we groom them and then get them to participate at the state and national level, then they will be our products for the next Olympic, Asian and Commonwealth Games and international championships.” The state government has also announced cash prizes for national level medalists and job reservations for sports achievements.
