
On Friday, the Minister of the Interior G. Parameshware ordered a change in the age limit for the charge of police sub-inspectors and constables.
At a high-level meeting, Mr. Parameshware ordered the department to change the rules of the cadre and recruitment, thereby increasing the maximum age limit for the sub-inspector’s contributions to 32 years for candidates from the SC/WE Class classes and 30 years for general category candidates. For police attitudes, the age limit will now be 30 years for SC/ST and Backward Class and 27 years for candidates for the general category.
Previously, according to the rules of the cadre and recruitment, the upper age limit for sub-inspectors was 30 years for SC/WE candidates and reverse classes and 28 years for candidates for the general category. For Standblů it was 27 years and 25 years.
Mr. Parameshware told the Hind to the release of the age limit for the police charge was long -term demand.
“After detailed discussions with higher police department officials, I ordered these changes. This opens up opportunities for thousands of job seekers,” he said, adding that he also ordered the department to speed up the opening of vacancies.
