Deputy Minister Jamm and Kashmir Surinder Kumar Choudhary said on Wednesday (July 23, 2025) that a terrorist attack in Pahalgam had occurred, although the former state has been governed by the Union government for the last 11 years.
“How became Baisaran (Pahalgam)? How did Pulwam (Terrorist attack 2019)? Why hasn’t corruption still stop? When the same government that grabbed our statehood has been regulating J&K over the past 11 years,” Choudhary said at a public meeting – now organized by human rights forum.
22 April was killed by up to 26 civilians at Baisaran Meadow in Pahalgam during a terrorist attack. The terrorists who have the attack must still be arrested.

Abdullah, referring to a special intense revision of electoral roles in Bihar, said, “You are Muslim, Dalits and Adivasis that we did not apply to us because it is not because we are not at us and adivasis because they look at us and we are at us.” Abdullah.
Congress MEP Manish Tewari stated that the Supreme Court’s judgment stated in principle that the procedure that was adopted for annulment of Article 370 was incorrect, but the cancellation was correct. “It’s a very strange idea and I’m not doing it. This is the judgment I read,” Mr. Tewari said.
Sajjad Kargili of Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA) said Ladakh was “cheated and excluded”. “The J&K reorganization Act should be perverted, our country is at risk, Kargili said.
According to Article 370 of the Constitution, the special status of J&K was dismissed by Parliament on 5 August 2019 and the former state was divided into two trade unions- J&K and Ladakh.
The elections to the Assembly took place in the Union of J&K in September 2024, but the restoration of statehood, the assurance of the Union’s Government to the Supreme Court, is yet to be done.
Former Minister of the Interior of the Union GK Pillai said that the Supreme Court should take an opinion on the restoration of statehood and not only leave the decision to the government.
