He issues orders to shift Chief Minister Vijay’s office to Namakkal Kavignar Maligai

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay will soon move into a spacious office at the Secretariat. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), which until now operated from Fort St. George – except for a brief period when it operated from the newly constructed Secretariat Complex on Anna Salai – will move to the 10th floor of Namakkal Kavignar Maligai in the Secretariat Complex.

Chief Secretary M. Sai Kumar, who issued the orders for the same, said the relocation was necessitated by space constraints and administrative reasons.

The Information and Public Relations Department and the Social Media Department of the CMO, which are currently operating from the 10th floor of Namakkal Kavignar Maligai, will be shifted to Kalaivanar Arangam.

The stationery section of the tourism department will be located at the ninth floor of Namakkal Kavignar Maligai after the relocation of the CMO.
