India brought a clinical versatile performance that caused the very first female defeat of the T20i in England in regional soil in Bristol. The half -century from Amanjot Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues, supported by the disciplined bowling effort, helped on Monday 24 runs in India Outclass England by 24 runs and in a row of five matches took the commanding 2-0.
India has not won the T20i bilateral series since 2006, but if the opening games of this campaign are some hint, Harmanpreet Kaur and its team are at the top of the rewriting history. After crushing the 97-Run victory in the opening of the series in Nottingham on Saturday, she successfully defended 181 in Bristol.

India put on the bat for the second time in so many matches, India had a fluctuating start and lost key goals inside PowerPlay. Mandhan, who broke the match of the winning century in Nottingham, Shafali Verma and the returning Captain Harmanpreet Kaur, were all released soon and remained in uncertain position. In particular, Harmanpreet fought and managed only one run before he was caught.
In the final of the PowerPlay, India was winding up for 31 years when Jemimah Rodrigues joined Amanjot Kaur, who first fired for the first time in her career.
Come Stime
Rodrigues played a key role in grasping shifts and achieved her fifty with a result of well -timed boundaries. Her knocking was characterized by an intelligent stroke rotation and a calm presence in the fold, which ensures that the result boards are still ticking despite early failures. It starts carefully, eventually found fluency in the 93-Run partnership defining a match with Amanjot.
Amanjot Kaur quickly made it and sent English pitching on the border with authority. Her self -confident takebplay maintained pressure on the host and she continued to stay undefeated at 63 of just 40 supplies.
“A good victory for us – the way the whole team performed today was special to see. The way they played Jemimah and Amanjot gave us a platform. When the borders did not come, the twins were looking for,” said Harmanpreet Kaur.
Later in the Amanjot shifts he found support in Rich Ghosh when the couple added a brisk 55 runs in the last five breaks. Their late attack proved to be essential in driving India to a competitive sum of 181 for 4 of their 20 breaks. The duo took full advantage of some inconsistent bowling and ensured that India had ended strongly.
A versatile bowling display
In response, England tried to create a meaningful partnership when Indian pitchors kept things just all the time. The hosts were limited to 157 to 8 in their 20 breaks, which did not reach 24 runs. Tammy Beaumont excelled with a fast half -century, but her brave effort was not enough to direct England to victory.
Indian pitching maintained pressure with regular breakthroughs, and Amanjot Kaur limited her stellar day by requiring the key goal of Nat Sciver-Brunt. Her excellent versatile performance was brought by The Player of the Match Award.
“I feel quite impressed, I like to contribute to this victory,” Amanjot said.
India will now focus on closing the unsurpassed leadership in the series, while on Friday 4th July faces England in the third T20i in an oval in London.
