On Friday (August 29, 2025), under the observation of forest department officials, he died in salty state in a weak state found in a weak state in Kottapa in Aralam Farm.
The calf, which was found on Friday evening near the Kottapa Jalanidhi tank during a routine patrol, was immediate care according to veterinary instructions. However, despite the measures for a specialized team of veterinarians who started treatment on Saturday (August 30, 2025) in the morning, the elephant was declared dead around 11:15 during the exam.
Officials stated that the carcass bodies will be subjected to procedures after the mortal within the framework protocol of the wild animal audit. The exact cause of death would only be known after the autopsy, they added.
Previously, the skeleton of an adult elephant was also found in this area. The exact cause of death must still find out.
