US President Donald Trump wrote a letter to the new citizens and encouraged them to follow the rich American heritage and protect the constitution as their own responsibility for future generations.
What does Trump’s letter say?
Trump’s letter read: “I congratulate on behalf of my administration and the American people to become a citizen of our great and famous nation.”
“America has always welcomed those who accept our values, assimilate our society and promise loyalty to our country,” he wrote.
“This rich heritage is now yours for the protection, promotion and passing of the next generation. Our history is now your history. Our customs are now your habits. And our constitution is now yours to protect, honor and respect,” Trump added.
“The United States is now your homeland and you stand as part of one nation under God,” Trump said. “You promised your heart to America – and in return offers an unlimited promise of freedom and opportunities.”
Trump also added: “We are applauding your devotion to our country, our people, our history and our great American story. As long as Americans continue to love our country and follow our values, there is nothing that our nation can do. Our communities will prosper. ”
“Our tradition will last. And our future will be clearer, brighter and more promising than ever,” he said.
Finally, he closed by congratulating the citizens and wrote, “May God bless you and can continue to bless the United States.”
Trump’s recent attack on immigration
Trump recently criticized immigration policy and said, “Being soft on these illegal immigration crimes ended”, after the brutal problems of the Indian original Motel manager in Dallas, allegedly an undocumented Cuban immigrant with the previous criminal register.
Trump’s administration launched an operation in Massachusetts aimed at deportation of undocumented immigrants and quoted the statement of the Ministry of Internal Security, focusing on “criminal aliens” based in the state, reported by New York Times 7 September.
