The Delhi Traffic Police recently issued an advisory ahead of the monsoon session of Parliament, which is scheduled to begin on July 20. The notice of special traffic measures warned of heavy vehicular movement and traffic restrictions in and around the Parliament area.

In a social media post on X Saturday, the Delhi Traffic Police said, “During the 2026 Monsoon Session of Parliament, starting from July 20, 2026 in the jurisdiction of New Delhi Range, special traffic arrangements will be in place. The advisory has listed several routes that commuters must avoid due to the closure and blockade. The Traffic Police has even provided a list of alternative routes for motorists to avoid the restricted traffic during peak hours.” roads.

“Due to the expected increase in vehicular traffic in the area and traffic restrictions, the general public is advised to avoid the following roads and intersections as much as possible to ensure smooth and trouble-free driving,” the advisory said.
