The institutions of agricultural technologies (IAT), Bangalore and Sahaja Samrudha in cooperation with Wassan, Keystone Foundation, Crops4HD and the use of diversity are organized by the Desi Seed 14 and 15 and 15 June at the Bengalur institution.
“The aim of the festival is to connect the seeds of seeds, farmer scientists, agricultural enthusiasts and consumers from all over the country to discuss and celebrate the importance of maintaining the indigenous variety of seeds,” the festival organizers said.

These banks will distribute seeds to farmers and create market ties for them. The indigenous seeds are considered resistant to climate change and offer a solution to several agricultural challenges, the release said. “This festival is a step to raise awareness among farmers about the importance of preserving these seeds,” he added.
More than 1,500 indigenous seeds, including rice, millet, pulses, tubers, leafy vegetables and vegetables, will be exposed. The tribal farmers will also introduce the sources of wild plants preserved for generations.
The festival will be inaugurated. Trilochan Mohapatra, chairman of the protection of plant varieties and the Office for Farmers’ Rights (PPVFR). Remarkable guests will be presented at the final ceremony, including Dr. Ashok Dalwai (President, Agricultural Commission for Agriculture Karnataka).
