November will be warmer in Andhra Pradesh as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted above normal minimum and normal to above normal maximum temperatures for the month.
In its forecast for the country for the month issued on November 1, 2025 (Saturday), the IMD said above-normal minimum temperatures are likely in most parts of the country, including Andhra Pradesh. Even in the previous year, the state had a warmer winter, which usually lasts from December to February.
The IMD said the state may receive normal to above normal rainfall during the month as part of the northeast monsoon. But the state may not see any rain activity till November 7, barring thunderstorms at a few places.
La Nina conditions
The IMD further said La Nina conditions are prevailing over the Equatorial Pacific Ocean and negative Indian Ocean (IOD) conditions over the Indian Ocean.
The latest global model forecasts indicated that La Nina conditions are likely to continue during November-December 2025. Similarly, negative IOD conditions are likely to weaken over the Indian Ocean during the coming months.
