A woman kills her husband with an ax after an argument in Alwal

A woman killed her husband by attacking him with an ax after an argument over personal matters at Macha Bolarum in Alwal on Sunday evening.

The incident took place in Peddi Parmareddy Colony. The deceased was identified as Srinivas while the accused was identified as his wife Ramadevi.

According to the police, the couple had a disagreement over a personal matter after which Ramadevi allegedly picked up an ax and attacked Srinivas. He suffered severe injuries and died on the spot. Alwal police reached the spot after the incident and started investigation. Police are interviewing people connected to the family to find out the circumstances that led to the killing and reconstruct the exact sequence of events.
