
New Delhi: The head of the Shiromanians Akali Dal (SAD) and former Union Minister Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa died on Wednesday.
Dhindsa has long fought health problems. Today he died around 17:00, at the age of 89.
Dhindsa has been good for several months and its condition deteriorated over time.
27. May was admitted to the Fortis Hospital in Mohali in Pandjab in a critical condition. According to hospital authorities, he suffered from severe pneumonia and heart complications that seized health problems related to age.
“Despite the best efforts of the multidisciplinary medical team, he died at about 17:05 today due to cardiac arrhythmia and cardiac arrest,” the hospital authorities said.
The Shiromanians Akali gave the President, Sukhbir Singh Badal, expressed condolens at Dhinds’ demise.
Badal wrote Badal wrote: “My heart is deeply saddened by the disappearance of Sardar Sukhdev Singh Ji Dhindsa Sahab. Almighty to give the devoted soul instead of resting in the feet and grant the family the power to bear the loss.”
Former leader Pandjáb Cm and BJP, Captain Amarinder Singh, also expressed sadness.
In the paper on X, Singh Captain wrote: “Deeply sadden to hear about graduating Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa Ji – a dignified leader who served a pandjab with integrity and determination. My sincere confusion to his family and supporters.
Dhindsa was born on April 9, 1936 in the village of Ubhawal in the Sangrur district of Pandjab. Dhindsa also served as President of the Sad. During his time, he held a portfolio for sports and chemicals as a trade union.
AAM AADMI manager, Arvind Kejriwal, expressed his condolences to Dhinds and his family.
In post X, the jaw wrote: “Deeply saddened by Sardar Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, a rising state who progressed at this moment.”
