‘What’s next? Labeling democracy?’ — CJP strikes at center after Jantar Mantar was stripped of protest site status | Today’s news

The Janta Cockroach Party (CJP) on Monday strongly condemned the decision to designate Jantar Mantar as a protest site and took a sharp dig at the Center and asked if a “denotification of democracy” was in order.

The Delhi Police has designated Jantar Mantar as a site designated for protests and designated three new sites for demonstrations as per the official order.

Linking to X, the page wrote: “Jantar Mantar designated as protest site. What next? Designate democracy? Dictator is really scared!”

In a statement, the CJP said it did not accept the arbitrary decision and said it was an attack on people’s right to protest.
