Police Cubbon Park arrested a 45 -year -old man and gained valuables, including luxury watches, two diamond rings worth 14 lamps and a bag worth 75,000 ₹, among other things.
The accused, identified as Mohammed Malnan, from Tamil Nadu and the inhabitants of Mahalakshmi Layout, worked as a taxi driver.
According to the police, the actor and dancer, the inhabitants of Korangala, went to Cubbon Park for a morning walk on May 11, when the accused allegedly robbed her car and stole from his shoes for 22.5 £ Lakh.
The defendant waited for him to pick up the ride on Queen’s Road as the victim parked her car in front of her. Reportedly he saw her keeping a bag in his shoe and leaving without locking. After going for a walk, the accused allegedly opened the shoe and took her valuables. The victim saw the shoe open and the bag was missing when she returned from the walk.
Based on the shots of the CCTV camera and other technical evidence, the police traceded the accused and received stolen valuables.
