“These so-called cultured BJP leaders are brazenly tearing the assurances given by their top leadership and even making videos about it. Is this also happening because of a clash between two engines?” asked the Samajwadi Party leader while also asking for “immediate arrest”.
“BJP members are not even loyal to their own promises. BJP: Antithesis of trust!” concluded.
On 25 July, the BJP government met the CJP’s key demands, ending the nationwide protest. Dharmendra Pradhan resigned as Education Minister. Officials agreed to withdraw the FIR against the protesters and compensate the families of the suicide victims.

One user told Yadav, “Neta ji, is tweeting enough to teach such people a lesson? Take action, do your duty – if you feel something has happened then come and take legal action against this man. Only then can the atmosphere of the country be saved from hooliganism!”
However, one user questioned the authenticity of the video: “Why would BJP people make such a video to gossip? The man must be from SP who is calmly making the video and wearing a saffron gamchha so that confusion can be spread and a story can be created. The public knows everything.”
