CJP Protest News LIVE Updates: The second round of talks between the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protesters and a delegation from the Center is likely to take place on Saturday. In the first round of talks held on Friday, the government agreed to the CJP’s three demands but gave no assurance on the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and spokesperson Saurav Das warned that “the situation could escalate into a much harsher crackdown in the coming days.”

Meanwhile, huge numbers of protesters took to the streets of Mumbai and Pune in Maharashtra, according to videos and photos shared by CJP founder Abhijeet Dipek. Aaditya Thackeray also shared a picture from the protest in Mumbai and wrote on X, “Mumbai ❤️ for 🇮🇳 @abhijeet_dipke we stand with you and the youth of India! This is just one click on one lane. 2 lanes running parallel to Shivaji park were full of patriots.”

In Telangana too, TPCC working president Jagga Reddy held a candlelight vigil over the NEET ranks. He said, “..Under this BJP government, students have completely lost faith in the education system, they work hard for years, they sit for the exam and then they find out that the paper was leaked…”

PM Modi thanks youth in new video

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared another video on Instagram on Friday, expressing his gratitude to the youth for their “smart suggestions” and the positive response to the video he shared on Thursday.

“Thank you friends. I had an opportunity to meet you late last night. I appreciate the way you responded to my video and your positive suggestions. Thank you all,” PM Modi said.

“I had the opportunity to interact with you last night. The way you responded to the video I posted and shared your positive suggestions – thank you all. Your love and support continues and our connection is even stronger and more active,” he continued.

In a video shared on X on Thursday, the Prime Minister announced that the Union Cabinet will pass a bill on speedy trials and severe punishment for offenders.
