Commission John Michael d’Unha, who examined the alleged discrepancies in the Covid-19-19-19-year award and Management and Management in Karnataka during the previous government of BJP, on Saturday on Saturday on Saturday, she submitted her second provisional report to the Chief Minister Siddaramaiaha.
When the commission submitted a message, the main secretary Shalini Rajneesh was present. Previously, Mr. d’Unha, a retirement judge, submitted a report on August 31, 2024.
The Congress Government has ordered a probe into an alleged fraud involving purchase of PPE and medicinal products and drug administration, among other things, during the pandemic.
Seven volumes
The second interim report contains 1,808 pages. It has seven volumes and four of them relate to the alleged fraud in Bruhhat Bengalur Mahanagara Palike – Bommanahalli, Yelahanka, Southern Zone and the Western Zone.
The other two volumes concern the districts of Bengalur Urban and Bengalur of the Rural, Gadag and Koppal.
In her earlier report, she recommended, among other things, the prosecution of the then Chief Minister BS Yediyuppa and then the Minister for Health and Family Care of B. Sriramulu on the alleged purchase of three PPE kits in April 2020 at exaggerated rates.
The State Cabinet decided to pass the report to review by the official committee headed by the main secretary.
