Another headmistress in Karur suspended her for screening Vijay’s speech in the school premises

The headmistress of another school in Karur has been suspended for showing a live telecast of Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay’s address to students on the campus on Friday. Earlier, the headmistress of a school in Krishnarajapuram in Karur district was suspended for this.

Subsequently, there were allegations that scenes from the Chief Minister’s meeting were similarly projected at Panchayat Union High School in Mahadhanapuram, Karur. After an inquiry was conducted in the matter, the principal of the school, R. Rajeshwari, was suspended.

An official notification regarding the matter said that the action was taken for defying the education ministry’s circular issued on July 9.
