
Bombay: BCCI to announce IPL 2026 play off venue in few days. “We are working on what could be a suitable venue for the IPL playoffs and final. So we will take two more days,” BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia told reporters at the BCCI headquarters here on Saturday, just after announcing the squad for the 2026 Women’s World T20 Cup.The BCCI secretary refused to reveal whether the designated venues – Mullanpur and Bengaluru – based on last year’s finalists and champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings, would host the play-off matches. “You can keep guessing, but I won’t answer you. We’ll call in two days,” he said.Mullanpur hosted the Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator while the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad (Eden Gardens in Kolkata was by convention to host the final) out of sequence last season hosted Qualifier 2 and the final which was put on hold for a while due to the Indo-Pak war.The BCCI has not announced the dates of the IPL 2026 play-offs, apart from announcing that the final will be held on 31
