The state government has approved the setting up of a new Government Tooling and Training Center (GTTC) at Jewargi taluk in Kalaburagi district as part of a move to boost technical education and skill development in the region.
In a media release issued on Saturday (May 2), Ajay Singh, chairman of the Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board (KKRDB) and Jewargi MLA, said the state cabinet approved the proposal in its meeting held on April 30.
