KKR comfortably sealed the win in the Super Over. Batting first, LSG lost two wickets for just one run when Sunil Narine dismissed Nicholas Pooran and then Aiden Markram. Chasing the target of two, KKR ended the match on the very first ball as Rinku Singh smashed a boundary.The dejection and frustration of the win was clearly visible on LSG captain Rishabh Pant’s face during the post-match presentation.Pant emphasized the need for collective responsibility after the defeat against KKR.Chasing 156, LSG finished on 155 with Mohammed Shami smashing a six off the last ball of the innings, but his efforts fell short.After the loss, Pant said the team needed a short break to reset and handle the pressure better.“I think we definitely need a break. I think we’re going to freshen up. There’s always pressure and it’s always going to be a pressure game, but at the same time, we’ve got to find the answers inside, not outside. And just keep it simple. We’ve got to take responsibility — every guy. Like, it can’t be about one or two guys. It’s got to be about the whole unit, and a lot of people will definitely take it,” Pant said.
