Congress MLA Naini Rajender Reddy demanded strict action against the BRS leaders, alleging that they were resorting to provocation and intimidation by the police.
Speaking to the media at the CLP office here on Saturday, Mr. Reddy said that call letters should be opened against the BRS leaders. “The BRS leaders should be jailed. They are surviving only because of the leniency shown by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy,” the Warangal West MLA said.
He questioned their behavior as public representatives, asking: “Is it right to threaten the authorities? Are you public representatives or rioters?” He added that the entire political life of BRS leaders revolves around provocations.
Referring to the ongoing wiretapping probe, Mr Reddy said the ‘big man’ involved would be identified through a probe and attacked BRS leaders for their “unnecessary shouting and crying” over the probe.
He clarified that the current government had never announced that it would split the districts and alleged that the BRS leaders were running a bogus campaign to reorganize the districts.
