The Ministry of Forest, the Government of Karnataka, will celebrate the 71 week of the wilderness from 2 to 8 October with a number of awareness and field programs.
Main Minister Siddarahaiah will start weekly celebrations on October 2 by postponing Walkathon from Vishana judges to Lalbagh in Bengalur. In the following days, the games will be tables Tableaux and Street in the peripheral villages of Bannerghat, Alecal, Harohalli and Kodihalli’s wilderness, along with a painting competition for special-diseased children in Bannerghatta Biological Park.
Other peaks include the series of Assembly by Aranya Bhavan to Bannerghatta 5th October, session of birds’ observation in the Bannerghatt National Park and 6th October seminars on laws on wild animals for environmental management and Policy Research Institute (EMPRI).
Celebrations will end with closure at Hall of Vishana’s Banking
