11 natural science bibliographies were published at the KU event

KU VC Pratap Reddy and others release bibliographies at an event at the Hanumakonda campus on Friday.

Kakatiya University, Warangal, Vice-Chancellor, K. Prathap Reddy said naturopathy remains highly relevant in the context of contemporary lifestyles and emphasized the importance of adopting healthy lifestyle practices for longevity.

Addressing the 8th anniversary celebrations of the International Naturopathy Library and Research Center at the Kakatiya University Senate Hall on Friday, Mr. Reddy released the 11-volume bibliography on naturopathy compiled by former Professor G. Rameshwaram, founder of the research center. He also added that Kakatiya University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Center for the benefit of academics.

The Vice-Chancellor appreciated the contribution of Prof. Rameshwarama in the field and appreciated his efforts in promoting natural medicine and creating valuable academic resources.

Prof. Rameshwaram said the bibliographies have been published in Telugu, English, Hindi and Marathi and will serve as a useful reference material for naturopathy practitioners worldwide. He noted that the International Naturopathy Library and Research Center houses around 8,000 rare manuscripts, books and journals on the subject.

Telangana University Vice-Chancellor T. Yadagiri Rao appreciated Professor Rameshwaram’s sustained efforts to promote natural treatment for the betterment of human health.

Retired Teachers’ Association President A. Sadanandam congratulated Professor Rameshwaram, saying, “Knowledge advances not by preserving old ideas unchanged, nor by rejecting them outright, but by constantly examining them in the light of new evidence.”

Kakatiya University Registrar V. Ramchandram and others participated in the programme.
