The state government announced three days of sadness by September 22, but was now extended by a day to coincide with its cremation, the main minister said.
Speaking of the cause of the death of Assamese Singer’s Death, Hiant Sarma said that the Singapore Government issued a death certificate that states that the Zateen died due to drowning.
“The Indian High Commission in Singapore sent us a death certificate and we also asked us to send us a message to us first,” added Hisant Biswa Sarma.
Zateen died in Singapore on Friday while swimming in the sea without a rescue jacket.
