A woman’s unconventional way of asking her bosses for a holiday has gone viral on social media, with millions of users praising her creativity and sense of humour.
Instead of writing a formal email or planning a routine office conversation, a woman named Talia decided to request a vacation via a Netflix-style drama trailer. The video, which has now crossed over 7 million views online, shows her requesting a 10-day leave from her bosses Frank and Jack to go on holiday to Bali.
The now-viral clip unfolds like a documentary trailer, complete with dramatic questions, tense pauses and nervous reactions.

“I need 10 days vacation to travel to Bali”
The trailer opens with an interviewer asking Talia about her recent behavior.
“Do you want to confess why you’ve been so on edge lately?” asks the interviewer.
To which Talia replies, “I have to ask Frank and Jack something.”
The interviewer then continues, “Is that why you’re so weird?”
Talia replies, “I just can’t bring myself to do it. I can’t do it, I haven’t found the right time.”
The conversation builds tension before the interviewer tells her, “Talia, now is the time.”
Finally, Talia reveals the reason for her nervousness, saying, “I need 10 days of vacation to go to Bali and have a lot of fun.”
The fake trailer then dramatically ends with the question, “So was it a yes or a no?”
The video shows Talia facing what she describes as a nerve-racking challenge — asking her bosses Frank and Jack for permission to take a 10-day vacation to Bali.

They also jokingly asked if they were expected to respond in a similar style.

Talia then clarified, “In documentary trailer format.”
Bosses were still processing the request and replied: “Yes or no, or there is a third option.
The result of the leave application has not yet been published.
