
Director of Secondary Health, AP, KVN Chakradhar Babu, who is also the returning officer for the AP Medical Council (APMC) elections – 2026, said that the polling will be held online on Monday (February 9).
According to the Sunday press release of the Ministry of Health, polls are being held to elect 13 members to the APMC pursuant to § 3 paragraph 2 letter (b) of the AP Medical Practitioners Registration Act (APMPR), 1968. A total of 84 candidates are in the fray and 56,374 registered medical practitioners are eligible to vote across the state.
Voting will be held between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm through the official website. A dedicated chatbot, APMC Chunav Bot, and help desk services (9000780707, 9154032856) have been set up to provide assistance during elections.
The counting of votes and the announcement of the results will take place on February 10 at 11 a.m. in the office of the SZZ director.
