Kambli, who has played 17 Tests and 104 ODIs for India, has been in the news for some time about his health. She has been seen participating in various events and functions, often walking with support. However, there were also reports suggesting that the former cricketer is on the mend. The issue resurfaced recently when his friend Marcus Couto claimed that Kambli had a “brain clot” that was affecting his memory. However, Kamblia’s wife Andrea Hewitt dismissed the claims as false, saying that misinformation is being spread about his health.“By the grace of God, Vinod is fine. I don’t know who is spreading false information about his health,” Andrea told India Today. Her statement came after Couto hinted that Kambli was dealing with a serious health problem.“Since he was hospitalized in Thane about 18 months ago, Kambli has had a brain clot. His memory is not good. He remembers things and then forgets them. All because of that brain clot,” Couto said.
