The Vikrama Naval Biology Department of Simhapuri University (VSU), Nellore, signed a memorandum of understanding (MY) with the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Chennai to cooperate on student scholarships and initiatives of joint research.
A total of 4.12 GBP was sanctioned for the development of the department as the “Center of Excellence”. “This cooperation represents an important opportunity for VSU,” said Vice -Rector ALLAR Srinivas Rao.
Reaching media on Friday with registrar K. Sunitho, director of Ch. Vijaya and the head of the marine biology of Hanum Reddy, outlined the key features of the partnership. The community will be awarded to students starting with the academic years 2025-26, 2026-27 and 2027-28. Based on the PGCEC series, the 15 best students receive 10,000 GBP per month for 10 months each year for two years. During the fourth semester, 10 students will receive 5,000 GBP per month for six months. The community also provides students with the opportunity to study postgraduate title in the field of marine biology.
In addition, CRS was assigned 2,12 GBP to the latest laboratory equipment. Scientists NIOT will contribute by lecturing visiting lectures and performing specialized educational programs.
