Two constraints attached to the Tiruvannamei Police East in Tiruvannamei were arrested and later suspended to accusations of rape of a 19 -year -old woman in the early Tuesday.
The constraints were identified as Suresh Raj and Sunder. The initial investigation revealed that, along with her sister, victim, and a native of Andhra Pradesh, came to a truck loaded on goods to give a shipment of vegetables and fruits to the common market in Tiruvannamei.
When they returned home to the bypass, the vehicle was stopped at an intersection at Endal Village on the outskirts of Tiruvannamai for two constant verification of the vehicle documents. The constables then took a young woman in a remote place and raped her, the police said. Later the constabbits left the place. The incident occurred at midnight.
“Both of the constables have been working at the Tirannamei Police Station for more than a year. It was from the hospital’s government offices, we were informed of a crime,” police officer Hindu said.
The police said the victims had been able to reach the bypass road, where several Enral Village residents helped her to get into the Government Hospital of the Faculty of Medicine in Tiruvannamei for medical examination.
After the incident, G. Dharmarajan, Dig (Vellore Range); M. Sudhakar, SP (Tiruvannamalai); and V. Satish Kumar, police assistant (ASP), Tiruvannamei, inspected the place and conducted an investigation. The case was registered by Tiruvannamalai All Women Police (AWPS).
After the production before the local court, the arrested Pugular were submitted in the central prison in Vellore. The police said two constant constituents were suspended on the basis of the investigation report.
