
A domestic dispute in the US has reportedly ended in a fatal stabbing, with a woman accused of killing her boyfriend after an argument over dinner plans. According to court documents cited New York Post and WISNthe incident occurred in the village of Lac La Belle, Wisconsin.
Mikayla Kloth, 27, was charged with first-degree intentional homicide in connection with the death of her boyfriend, Lukas Rosch, 25.

What the criminal complaint states
According to the complaint obtained by WISN, Kloth told investigators the incident happened Friday night after a disagreement escalated at her apartment.
Rosch allegedly brought food, including chicken drumsticks and spices, with the intention of cooking the food using an air fryer. However, Kloth reportedly wanted to go out. The difference in plans led to an argument between them.
The complaint states that Kloth told police that Rosch “started pushing buttons,” after which the situation escalated. Authorities say she stabbed Roscha once in the chest during the argument.
The victim succumbed to his injuries at the hospital
After the incident, paramedics took Roche to a nearby hospital. However, he was later pronounced dead. According to reports cited by the New York Post, he died of a single stab wound to the chest.

Attempts to revive him at the scene, including CPR, were made but were unsuccessful.
Statements Cited in Complaint
The criminal complaint, US media reported, includes statements allegedly made by Kloth during and after the incident.
She is said to have confessed to the stabbing while CPR efforts were underway. The complaint further states that while being transported to the police station, she made comments about the situation, including expressing frustration over the altercation.

According to the report, she also made a statement about how the victim’s family might react after the incident. These statements form part of the evidence presented in the complaint and have not been independently verified.
The couple had been in a relationship for three years
The complaint states that Kloth and Rosch had been in a relationship for about three years. Rosch is said to have frequently visited Kloth’s apartment.
On the day of the incident, he allegedly informed her via text message that he planned to come over and cook dinner. However, Kloth expressed that he would rather go out, which reportedly led to a disagreement.
Fees and court proceedings
Kloth was formally charged with first degree intentional homicide. According to reports, she is currently being held on $2 million in cash.
If convicted, she could face up to life in prison under US law.
The investigation is ongoing
Authorities have not released any other details beyond those contained in the criminal complaint cited in the media. The case remains under investigation.
