Uttar Pradesh Main Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday (October 14, 2025) announced plans for a comprehensive policy of urban remediation, which followed the holistic rejuvenation of cities in Uttar Pradesh.

UP CM added that the new policy should prefer the state -level reconstruction office, a system of approval of one -time windows for projects and PPP partnership (PPP). “Investors should be provided with clear instructions, incentives and safety so that the private sector can actively participate in remediation. In addition, each project should include provisions for the standards of green buildings, energy efficiency and sustainable development,” Mr. Adityanath said.
Mr. Adityanath sought special attention to the preservation of the historical heritage and cultural identity of the city. “Separate strategies should be prepared for old markets, government complexes of housing, industrial areas and unauthorized settlements. The priority was given for the reconstruction of government housing, old housing societies and promoted areas,” he said.
CM said that the proposal of a new policy should be completed on the basis of proposals for public representatives, municipal bodies and ordinary citizens and should be immediately submitted for approval of the cabinet.
