The TELANGANA Government is to lose the revenue of the 5,000 GBP Crore melody due to the latest revision of the goods and services tax rates (GST).
However, the Government has taken a political decision to ensure that the benefits of the rate revision reach the poor, middle class and farmers. The entire cabinet led by the main Minister A. Revanthem Reddy decided a unanimous political decision on the rationalization of GST in the interests of these sections, said Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramark.
The representative of the main minister interacts with the business community at a meeting organized by the Ministry of Commercial Taxes on Tuesday in the background of the revision of the GST rates.
Mr. Bhatti Vikramarka said that the TELANGANY government played a key role in deciding on the revision of the GST rates and as a member of the GST Council played an active role in ensuring that the revision of the rates would benefit people.
Long -term discussions took place in Delhi for the purpose of simplifying GST procedures and the decisions taken without compromises would benefit from the state people. As a result, a large number of goods at lower prices would now be available. The government and traders were responsible for ensuring that these benefits were achieved by the public. Only if government and traders work together can it be achieved.
Mr. Bhatti Vikramarka urged traders to sincerely show reduced prices of goods to the public after revision of rates and to communicate the real impact of GST changes without hesitation. Traders should see details about how the prices of different commodities have changed after rationalization of GST as people understood.
Revised GST rates would significantly reduce the prices of agricultural facilities and food products. The GST cement board was reduced from 28% to 18%, leading to a reduction in cement prices that would in turn create the main opportunities to grow construction business.
Hyderabad has transformed into a “city state” and urbanization increased throughout the country, and therefore the infrastructure sector could systematically organize its business. He called on merchants to show details of reduced cement prices before their shops.
He said on an entry tax loan (ITC) that it is really beneficial for those who honestly do business. However, the state caused losses of income as a result of the conduct of those who receive unfair abbreviations. He called on merchants to provide the state government with information about incorrect practices.
The state government has always been ready to discuss all the problems that traders face. “Our doors are always open,” he said he added that the problems caused by traders would be discussed and resolved to facilitate business throughout the country.
