Two faculty members of Tumkur University’s Kannada Department have been caught submitting fake documents for promotion. During the investigation, it was confirmed that Professor Annamma and Associate Professor PM Gadharaiah of DV Gundappa Kannada Studies and Research Center of the university had submitted fake documents for promotion.
The university sought a legal opinion in this regard and, based on the report, decided to take legal and disciplinary action against both faculty members.
