Two dead, two injured in road accident in Nippani

Two people died and two were injured at Sthavanidhi Ghat in Nippani in Belagavi district on Tuesday.

Thirty-six-year-old Munir Sohail and Vinay Patil from Kolhapur in Maharashtra died on the spot when their car was hit by a truck from behind.

Two commuters were injured. The police admitted them to the hospital.

Nippani police rushed to the spot and removed the vehicle from the road. A case has been registered.
