The woman was found dead in her parents’ house in the village of Aliyapur below the Pali Police Station on Sunday morning.
Why was the aspirant killed?
Although the relative of the aspirant Ias claimed to commit suicide, the investigation revealed that she was allegedly killed for marrying against his family’s wishes, said Circle Officer (Shahabad) Alok Raj Narayan.
According to the police, Mishhra married Abhinav Katiyar, the headmaster of the Bareilla Government School, in January this year through the ceremony of Arya Samaj and the court registration.
During the interrogation, her brother, Ashetosh Mishhra, admitted that she would shoot her pistol produced by a country, the police said, adding that her mother was also arrested for alleged conspiracy in a crime, PTI reported.
She stayed in her parent house in preparation for the UPSC Civil Services exam.
